The Best Neck Exercise!
Instead of trying to stretch your neck for relief, try resetting your posture. The exercise below is designed to strengthen and "wake up" our posture muscles.
Resetting our posture can put us in a better position, taking the pressure off of overused neck and upper back muscles.
The more time we spend with our head supported, over our shoulders, the less our posture muscles have to work.
Due to our jobs, phones, and day to day activities our head tends to come forward putting stress on our neck and upper back. If this happens over long periods of time, fibrous adhesion can build up throughout the neck and upper back making it hard or even painful to hold our head in a good position.
If this exercise doesn't help relieve the pain and tightness due to poor posture, you likely have adhesion.
Not to worry, adhesion is the most common problem in the human body. Our providers specialize in finding and removing adhesion.
If you've had pain and tension for longer than 6 months we are here for you.
